How long does it take for home delivery?
For local deliveries we will deliver Tuesday to Thursday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Order before 12:00 noon on the previous day for next-day delivery. We will contact you to confirm a delivery time. If you are not home, we will leave the package in a safe place near your front door.
For rest of Canada it will be dependent on the carrier of choice at check out.
What courier do you use for deliveries?
Canada Post, Fedex, Purolator
I haven’t received a dispatch email/email confirmation?
Please be aware an automated email is sent to you to the given email address when your order is dispatched. Please check all folders including you junk as it will come from a noreply email address. If not received please contact us at connectedmindscafe@gmail.com
Can I collect from a local store?
Absolutely. Our location is Unit 12, 555 Clarke Road, Coquitlam. Please review Cafe page for more information and hours.
What if want to order less than 1lb?
Our minimum order is 1lb, but you can request that it be split between 2 - 8oz bags. We recommend 1 kraft bag and 1 sealed bag so your coffee will stay fresh longer. You can also visit our store to pick up less than 1lb of coffee.
Can I drink the coffee as soon as it has been roasted?
We recommend waiting at least 3 days before enjoying your first cup. If you have run out of beans and need it use it right away, the day after roasting is fine, you will just notice the flavour will develop over the next few days. Just don't drink same day as roasted, won't taste very good!
Why do I have to wait a few days after roasting to drink my coffee?
Coffee has to degas right after roasting. It is the process of gases - including carbon dioxide - releasing from the beans.
Drinking before the degassing process has finished can negatively effect the flavour profiles of the coffee. We recommend waiting about 3 days.
